This article will serve as a guide on how to top up your Singaporean-based SGD account. There are two methods to top up your account: Bank Transfer and PayNow. Read on for step-by-step instructions for each method.
Method 1: Bank Transfer
1. On your dashboard, click ‘Top Up Now’.
2. On the top up page, choose 'Bank Transfer'.
Copy the bank details shown on the screen and make a top up with your chosen amount. We will recommend topping up via FAST for funds to reflect instantly. Top ups made via GIRO or other methods may experience delays.
Do take note that the bank account details is a static virtual account. This means that you can use the same account details for every top up.
3. Once complete, your funds will be reflected in your dashboard.
Method 2: PayNow
1. On the top-up page, choose 'PayNow'.
Enter the top up amount and select 'Top up now'.
2. A QR code will be generated. Use your banking app to scan the QR code and make the payment.
3. Once the payment has been made, select 'I Have Completed Top Up'.
4. Once complete, your funds will be reflected in your dashboard.
Do take note be aware that if you're transferring an amount exceeding $5000 through PayNow, it may take some time for the funds to appear on your dashboard. We will thus suggest using FAST Bank Transfer for such amounts.
Things to note:
Please only top up your dashboard from your corporate bank account of the same entity name as your registered Spenmo account. For sole proprietorships without a corporate account, you can top up from the business owners’ bank account.
