Cash reimbursements done through Spenmo are sent from your Spenmo Company Wallet directly to your employee's bank account.
As such, all Spenmo users will have to link their bank accounts to their Spenmo accounts before requesting for a cash reimbursement.
Linking of bank account for Singapore Users
Method 1: Adding of bank account via the dashboard
1. Log into your Spenmo account and click ‘Bank Accounts’ in the settings.
2. Click on 'Add Account'.
3. Proceed to link either your PayNow or Bank Account details to Spenmo.
PayNow
4. Input your Mobile Number and Account Name (as seen in your own banking application).
5. Click on 'Add account' once done.
6. Your details are now saved. Approved cash reimbursements will be paid directly to your PayNow.
7. To make changes to your PayNow details, simply click on the linked account and delete it. You can then repeat the steps above and re-add your new account.
Bank Account
8. Same steps as above. Just that you will need to fill in your Bank Account details instead of PayNow details.
9. However, if your employee is adding their bank account details, the reimbursement will not be paid out immediately. Spenmo makes bank account reimbursement payouts every Friday, more on this below.
10. If you have employees who are adding their bank account details instead of PayNow, please contact support@spenmo.com. We will ensure that payouts are processed every Friday on our end. If you do not let us know, the payout will not be processed.
11. As such, to facilitate a more efficient cash reimbursement process, please ask your employees to link their PayNow to Spenmo instead of their bank account if possible.
Method 2: Adding of bank account via the mobile app
1. Log into your Spenmo app and click on the three lines in the top left hand corner.
2. Click on 'Settings'
3. Select 'Bank Accounts'.
4. Proceed to link either your PayNow or Bank Account details to Spenmo.
5. The process is the same as Method 1 above.
Linking of bank account for Indonesian and Philippine Users
Both the dashboard and mobile app methods follow the same steps as above. However, for Indonesia/Philippine users, only the bank account option is available.
When will the funds be credited?
For Singapore Users
Employees with PayNow linked
Once the admin approves the cash reimbursement request, the funds will immediately be deducted from the Company Main Wallet and credited to the employee's bank account.
Employees with Bank Account linked
Once the admin approves the cash reimbursement request, the funds will not be credited immediately to the employee's bank account.
Instead, the payments team at Spenmo will consolidate the reimbursement requests from your company and do a mass payout every Friday.
How does it work?
1. To set up cash reimbursements for your employees who linked their bank account, please contact support@spenmo.com . We will set things up for you.
2. Ensure that you approve all reimbursement requests before 1pm SGT on Fridays. If done after 1pm, requests will be paid out the following Friday.
3. Our payments team will payout all reimbursements directly to your employees' bank accounts.
For Indonesian and Philippine Users
Once the admin approves the cash reimbursement request, the funds will not be credited immediately to the employee's bank account.
Instead, the payments team at Spenmo will consolidate the reimbursement requests from your company and do a mass payout every Friday.
How does it work?
1. To set up cash reimbursements for your company, please contact support@spenmo.com . We will set things up for you.
2. Ensure that you approve all reimbursement requests before 12pm WIB (GMT+7) on Fridays. If done after 12pm, requests will be paid out the following Friday.
3. Our payments team will payout all reimbursements directly to your employees' bank accounts.
Note:
Before approving reimbursements for payment, make sure that your company wallet has sufficient funds to make the transaction. Reimbursements cannot be processed if your company wallet lacks the funds. Learn how to top-up your wallet here.
